part 2

10.–13.5.2016 @ Third Space, Tarkk’ampujankatu 18, Helsinki + online

The second part of What can feminism do? took place online and in the window of Third Space between 10th and 13th of May, 2016. During it we initiated experiments with the Memorial to Women in Times of War (Sodanajan naisen muistomerkki), making openings into questions of representation and equality. The memorial is a statue by sculptor Heikki Häiväoja, erected in Kallio, Helsinki in 1996 in order commemorate women who worked in the Second World War.
